The invention relates to a coupling device, particularly for connecting a bone implant with a bone anchoring element.
It has been described in prior art, inter alia, in EP 623 806, that a coupling element, in particular a conical sleeve, can be connected with a bone anchoring element for connecting a prosthesis or a part of a prosthesis to a bone.
In the case of a device according to the state of the art the sleeve is completely fixed in the bone anchoring element by means of a first transverse hole that is radially open, preferably circumferentially, and a second transverse hole that is radially closed, preferably circumferentially, wherein the sleeve with the holes is rotated and/or compressed for insertion in the bone anchoring element.
